In Belgrade, representatives of four non-governmental organizations discussed holding water adventure games for families

The representatives of four non-governmental organizations from Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania discussed in Belgrade the upcoming holding of the first water adventure games for families, at a training seminar, to build teams of volunteers – coaches, judges, lifeguards for the organization and normal and safe conduct of the event. The activity is part of the Water Adventure Games for Families project, which is being implemented by four NGOs – “Consult Group”, Bulgaria, “Calafat – Duven” Association, Romania, “Vega Youth Center” association from Serbia and “Bononia” Water and Rowing Sports Club, under the “Erasmus +” program, Sport.

In the meeting hall of the Arka Barka Hotel in Belgrade, the hosts from Serbia presented the organization of the competition in Belgrade related to family sports and the help they needed from partners for its smooth implementation. The tri-nation family competition will be held in three disciplines – rowing in tourist boats, SUP board competitions and a race with self-assembled rafting boats which will be assembled by the participants themselves. Other additional competitions between families are planned on site, which the organizers will present at a technical conference before the competitions themselves. On June 23, 24 and 25, the competitions will be held in the Sava River, in Belgrade, and the Bulgarian participants will be 20 people, selected after preliminary testing of their skills. On April 8 and 9, Vidin will host a seminar involving coaches, volunteers and judges in water sports. The competition itself is scheduled to be held in Vidin in August this year.
