A training seminar for the preparation and establishment of adventure game models was held in Vidin

Vidin hosted a training workshop on preparing and building models for adventure games. The activities are part of the project “Water adventure games for families”, implemented under the Erasmus + program, “Small Partnerships”. It was attended by five representatives from each organization – “Consult Group” association, “Calafat – Duvain” association, “Vega Youth Center” association and experts from the water and rowing club “Bononia”, Vidin, as well as representatives of the partner organizations and sports organizations. Within the framework of the project and in order to ensure a clear and accurate traceability of the decisions made, the meeting lasted two days, where the partners discussed the topics of the project in the following sequence:

  1. Review of changes in project activities, budget and schedule
  2. Presentation of the project “Water adventure games for families”
  3. Presentation of the frameworks for preparing and building models for adventure games, tailored to the specific conditions in each country
  4. Talks and discussions
  5. Presentation of the main frameworks of the future water adventure games for families Distribution of roles and responsibilities
  6. The obligations of each organization are specified
  7. Determination of criteria and uniform rules for evaluation and ranking of participants in adventure water games.
The “Water Adventure Games for Families” project, the activities, the budget and the expected results, as well as aspects of the Erasmus+ program were presented in multimedia to the 15 participants in the workshop. The issues surrounding the project were related to the organization and conduct of the water games in the three countries.
The participants were presented with information about the history of adventure games, their implementation over the years and the changing conditions and requirements for them nowadays. A presentation was also made on the general rules for adventure games, cooperative activity of the organizers and sports disciplines. The second part of the first day was spent in discussions and debates about adventure games.
On the second day of the workshop, the core of the water adventure game model for families was presented. According to project rules, a minimum of three water sports (swimming, rowing or canoeing and watercraft/sub, dragon boat or sailing) must be featured in adventure game models. It is also necessary to create uniform rules for the evaluation and ranking of participants in adventure water games. Therefore, the experts presented three sports as a bet for future adventure games in Vidin. These are Sub Board, Dragon Boats and Swimming Competition.
The participants also discussed the conditions for drawing lots, which should take place on the first day, and on the second day for the competition to be held. The implementation of the activity will enable, in the shortest possible time, the water adventure games models to be implemented in the organization of the three-day family water adventure games.
